The Global Test Returns

The problem remains, the misguided Mavrick:
MCCAIN: Our great power does not mean we can do whatever we want, whenever we want, nor should we assume we have all the wisdom and knowledge necessary to succeed. We need to listen, we need to listen to the views and respect the collective will of our Democratic allies. When we believe international action is necessary, whether military, economic, or diplomatic, we will try to persuade our friends that we are right. But we in return must be willing to be persuaded by them.

RUSH: You gotta keep in mind the context of the speech. This is a foreign policy speech. This sounds like the global test, this sounds like the haughty -- by the way, let me clarify something. People think I'm calling Kerry, a hotty, h-o-t-t-y, it's haughty, h-a-u-g-h-t-y, the haughty John Kerry. This sounds like the global test. We need to listen to the views and respect the collective will of our Democrat allies. If they think we're wrong, we've gotta be open to being persuaded that we're wrong. (interruption) That's exactly right, Mr. Snerdley. If they think we're wrong, we have to own up to being wrong, the possibility of being wrong. Let me tell you something. Liberals are going to love this speech. This is the problem. This is their stated approach. This is no different than what John Kerry was talking about doing...

The endorsed Candidate of the NY Times.

Lindsey Graham must be thrilled.

EVEN MORE FROM THE MIGHTY EIB:
"John McCain's team that is taking over the Republican Party has decided on Bobbie Greene..."

...What else are conservatives supposed to think? This is McCain saying, "Screw you guys! I know who my base is. I know where I want my support to come from, and I'm going to go out there and I'm going to get it and I'm going to let this babe run my convention."

The Luck Of The 'O'

The impressive Mr. Hurt...
"Call him Barack O'Bama - for he's got the luck of the Irish.

The very week he faces his toughest obstacle ever - one that may still derail his candidacy - Obama gets a near-game-ending pot of gold.

It now appears certain that Hillary Rodham Clinton's efforts to rewrite party rules in a desperate search for a lifeline have failed.

Her absurd proposal of counting her "wins" in Michigan and Florida - long after everyone agreed they wouldn't count - has been laughed off the table.

And now, it appears, there won't even be any revotes.

While revotes are the only way to resolve the matter justly, they would have been problematic for Obama ever since his insane preacher - who makes the Black Panthers seem docile - became a household name...
*
But luck is never just luck, and Obama works very hard.

The Wright scandal has been Obama's Gennifer Flowers moment.

And just as Bill Clinton handled that first great bimbo eruption, Obama handled this quite deftly.

In his Philadelphia speech on race this week, Obama laid bare his soul.

By blaming both whites and blacks for racial tensions, he triangulated the problem.

And, of course, he changed the subject from his Pastor Eruption.

He out-Clintoned even the Clintons and somewhere, Bill Clinton is marveling over how he backed the wrong horse in this race."

Well stated.

But, the incredibly lackluster offering of the other misguided Celebrity Symbols from the Beltway, Senators McCain and Clinton, are a massive pot of gold for the young Mr. Obama as well.

The Regretful Nominee

This Poster has tried, on behalf of a number of fine Associates, to give Senator John McCain another chance.

But, the old Keating 5 Member remains deeply embarrassing...
McCain finance chairman Thomas G. Loeffler and Susan E. Nelson, who left Loeffler's lobbying firm to be McCain's finance director, both began lobbying for Airbus's parent company in 2007, Senate records show. William L. Ball III, a former secretary of the Navy and frequent McCain surrogate on the trail, also lobbied for Airbus, as did John Green, who recently took a leave from Ogilvy Public Relations to serve as McCain's legislative liaison.

"Airbus, I have to give them credit," said R. Thomas Buffenbarger, the president of the International Association of Machinists, which represents Boeing employees. "They know they need that kind of lobbying help. And they went after people who could deliver."

Recently asked about the Beltway Insider's overt connections to Lobbyists, and the effects of this influence on the latest a $35 billion contract awarded to Europe's Airbus Consortium, John McCain provided one of the most ugly GRINS imaginable.

It was similar to the childish grin John McCain had on his face, when he slandered his opponent at the Reagan Library.

It was NOT an appealing sight...

The old Campaign Finance Reformer looked as if he was going to cackle, while maintaining that Lobbyists are simply part of the process, of his self described "failure" in Washington.

Seems the Senator of 24 Years should be trying harder, to rebuild the American Confidence in Government, (one of his many promises).

In the video above, the Washington Elite of 3 Decades is visibly frustrated with a NY Times Reporter, who is from the same Liberal Partisan Establishment which endorsed the Senator.

There are many Conservatives who now dismiss the basis of the issue represented here, simply because of the weak NY Times involvement.

Just as many dismissed another sign John McCain's poor judgment, flying around with a concerning Female Lobbyist: "First, the Times muddied, with unsubstantiated sexual innuendo about a female lobbyist, a story about McCain's flights on jets owned by corporations with business before the Senate Commerce Committee, and his meeting with a broadcaster (McCain at first denied it happened; the broadcaster insists it did, and McCain now agrees) who sought and received McCain's help in pressuring the Federal Communications Commission..."

This is the type of dismissive nature often practiced by Liberal Democrats, who deny the ugly reality of the Clinton Malfeasance, because of the Political Identity of the critical source.

However, the Grey Lady's Reporter in the video, was merely asking questions about John McCain's denials regarding his contemplation to become the Democrat's Vice Presidential Candidate in 2004.

McCain did indeed entertain the idea, (perhaps still being rather bitter about losing in 2000, as well as being quite Liberal himself), but nixed the opportunity knowing it would ruin his burning ambition for the Presidency, thus the Senator decided to wait until 2008.

Now, the aged Keating 5 Member knows the Democrat VP contemplation, hurts him with Conservatives (those he has undermined for years - but now desperately needs for personal gain).

But John McCain only makes the matters far worse, by being dishonest and bitter about this prior courting of his close Friend, John 'Swift' Kerry.

The entire episode reminds all, this Senator of 24 Years can only handle sincere confrontation with an unsightly hostile temperament.

"You're a bully and a coward. You have no regard for the Constitution. I'll be civil to you but I won't shake your hand." - Senator McCain

Just like his 'f-n-demeanor' with other GOP Senators, when McCain wanted that mindless Amnesty being provided with Immigration Reform.

Were Lobbyists driving the Senator to embrace the Z-Visa as well?

All those years growing the Ego in the Beltway, coupled with a vivid lack of accomplishment, a lackluster ability, and even a less than impressive intelligence, has left John McCain with a hot button.

He should be grinning ear to ear, thanking this NY Times Reporter, not only for her Paper’s Endorsement, but also for the Liberal Votes in the GOP Primary which were encouraged by the powerful MSM.

Instead, John McCain's deceit may haunt him…

Recently, this Poster watched Senator McCain appear with the current President, and was sincerely disappointed once again.

John McCain looked like President GW Bush's angry GrandFather.

His unheathly appearance, vivid age, sour temperament, and pour articulation, were dreadful in comparison to the current CIC.

Strangely, Senator McCain arrived late to this important endorsement, leaving the President standing alone to entertain the Media.

When asked if McCain would have the President campaign on his behalf, in reference to low approval ratings, Senator McCain didn’t even have the class to say, 'I would be proud to have this President’s support…'

Instead John McCain, who believes Hillary would make a good President, mumbled something about a busy schedule and a potential in fundraising.

The entire episode was simply disconcerting.

The awkward display was not surprising, coming from a Senator who lied about his reasons for voting against tax cuts.

“I just thought it was too tilted to the wealthy, and I still do…” - John McCain, Nov. 26, 2005

Senator McCain is truly uninspiring...
"McQueeg has a clear runway and still can’t carry the ball. What he should have said is that since Kerry is a Senator and McQueeg is a Senator we have met MANY times, so? Then if asked about being Kerry’s running mate he should have told the reporter, I guess Kerry came to me looking for a few good men. He should have done it with humor and a pleasant temperament and turned it back on the NYT. But he can’t do it since he knows he really doesn’t belong where he is. McQueeg should be having the time of his life now, like Reagan did when HE campaigned for POTUS but he’s going to make it a struggle. What a shame!" - Lipstick on a PIAPS

MCQUEEG?
"Confronted with his lie on Wednesday night’s debate, McCain blustered and filibustered in a manner reminiscent of Captain Queeg in The Caine Mutiny, when he was caught in a lie during a navy inquiry..."

* UPDATE:
NOT POLITICAL Senator McCain?
The transatlantic fund-raiser, to be held March 20 at the home built by the first Earl Spencer, an ancestor of Diana, the late Princess of Wales, comes at the end of a foreign trip that Mr. McCain, the presumptive Republican nominee for president, has repeatedly said is not political.

Mr. McCain is to travel to London, Paris and the Middle East next week with Senator Lindsey Graham, the South Carolina Republican, and Senator Joseph I. Lieberman, the Connecticut independent.

“I do want to emphasize again that the three of us are going as members of the Armed Services Committee,’’ Mr. McCain told reporters on his campaign bus in Philadelphia on Friday. “And we will emphasize that at every stop.’’

Lindsey must be thrilled!

Isn't it rather 'Clintonian' to try to call a political trip, with lavish fundraising events, NOT a political trip?

But that is why, Senator McCain is The Regretful Nominee.

Will Mr. McCain be visiting anyone from Europe's Airbus Consortium?

The mighty Gateway Pundit...
"Top McCain Advisers Lobbied For Airbus...
Contract Was Altered Last Year"

'Senator John McCain has some serious explaining to do.'

- Top McCain advisers lobbied for the Airbus tanker contract.
- Airbus was not even in the running in the beginning.
- Airbus was thinking of scrapping their bid for the DOD tanker contract because they did not see themselves meeting the capability metrics.
- The original contract was altered last year to favor the larger Airbus tankers over the Boeing planes.
- The contract was awarded to Airbus over America's Boeing Company.

We know the aged Keating 5 Member has only one memorable accomplishment in Washington, limiting Free Speech with Campaign Finance Reform, but it also seems John McCain can be easily bought and paid for...

Remember this one?
'Meet Jerry Perenchio. He’s a National Finance Co-Chair of the McCain 2008 campaign and the billionaire founder of Spanish-language media conglomerate, Univision. He also heads up a charitable foundation that has showered gobs of money on extremist green lobbying groups. Take open-borders zeal, add campaign finance hypocrisy, mix with eco-radicalism, and presto...'

Many seem to be tossing their credibility RIGHT out the window, circling the wagon for the bitter Beltway Insider.

But it still seems mindless.

A real disaster...

THE TWILIGHT ZONE

You are about to enter another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land of imagination.

Next stop, the Twilight Zone!

It is as if we have entered a different Universe these days...

The Primaries for the US Presidency, have destroyed many forms of reason, logic, and conventional wisdom.

All weary eyes turn to the dimensions of Ohio and Texas...

The Political Race has become a surreal chapter, from the very worst efforts in the realm of Science Fiction.

It is hard, NOT to find a desperate Conservative Pundit, who has peddled some hope for the 'comeback' of Bill Clinton and Hillary Rodham.

Unbelievable?
Far from it.
It is the new political surreality...

Many from the Right, are actually hoping to keep the unethical Hillary Clinton politically viable, conceiving schemes of political sabotage.

Like watching a fantastic moral play from the hair raising tales of Mr. Steiger, we see the rush to play with FIRE, creating concerning premonitions of the schemers getting burned.

Why?

Perhaps cosmic insecurity about the General Election, has produced a very new alternate Universe.

Are fears over this newcomer, a Senator named Obama, making some very strange bed fellows?

For instance, although the Clintons ignored the dangers of Radical Islamic Militancy for nearly a decade, even after the first attack on the WTC in 1993, some Republican Partisans are strangely suggesting Ms. Rodham has some credibility in areas of National Defense.

Hard to believe?
The demented seems common today...

With reality turned upside down, it is no surprise to see the GOP stuck with an aged Senator of 24 Years, whose true identity matches the Democrat Opposition.

One need only turn to the same Liberal Loyalists who endorsed the bitter Keating 5 Member, to glimpse the alarming irony of the BIZARRO Apparition.

Submitted for your perusal:
'In May 2001, Mr. McCain was one of only two Republicans — the other was Senator Lincoln Chafee of Rhode Island — to vote against President Bush’s $1.35 trillion 10-year tax cut. On the Senate floor, Mr. McCain said, “I cannot in good conscience support a tax cut in which so many of the benefits go to the most fortunate among us, at the expense of middle-class Americans who most need tax relief.”

Two years later, Mr. McCain was one of three Republicans to vote against additional Bush tax cuts — he and Mr. Chafee were joined by Senator Olympia J. Snowe of Maine — because, he said then, the costs of the Iraq war were not yet known. Specifically, he said he was open to the idea of tax cuts in the future, “but not until Congress and the administration have a better understanding of the costs of war and peace.”

Later, he said he also opposed the 2003 tax cut because it, too, disproportionately benefited the rich. “I just thought it was too tilted to the wealthy, and I still do,” Mr. McCain told Stephen Moore, a member of The Wall Street Journal editorial board, in an interview published on Nov. 26, 2005.'

Feels like the entire Universe has been swallowed by a massive Black Hole, twisting the very fabric of Our own existence.

And the wild ride of this phantasm is far from over...

As the mythical realm of the 'Fair and Balanced' says:
"And if the conservatives don't want a President Obama or a President Clinton, they ought to get off McCain's back and let him campaign as whatever he wants to, and campaign from the center." - Brit Hume
